Graduated with a Gold Diploma from the Higher Institute of Art of Cuba.
She was awarded the Carolina Scholarship, enabling her to pursue postgraduate and advanced studies at the Liceu in Barcelona under the guidance of Maestro Tensy Krismant. Subsequently, she received scholarships from the Albéniz Foundation and MAEC-AECID, which allowed her to complete a Master’s degree in Musical Performance at the Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid, where she studied with the renowned professors Dimitri Bashkirov and Denis Lossev.
In 2016, she received the diploma for Most Outstanding Student in the Chamber Music Department from Her Majesty Queen Sofía. She has won awards in competitions such as the María Clara Cullell (Costa Rica), the Vilafranca del Penedès Juventudes Musicales Piano Competition, and the Barcelona Spring Cycle Piano Competition; she also won prizes at the Amadeo Roldán and Musicalia piano competitions in Cuba, as well as in chamber music at the L’Arjau and UNEAC competitions.
She has performed in concert halls and at festivals in Cuba, the Americas, and Europe, both as a soloist and in chamber ensembles. She has appeared as a soloist with the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba, the Oriente Symphony Orchestra, and the Lyceum Mozartiano Orchestra of Havana—with the latter, she gave the Cuban premiere of Clara Schumann’s Piano Concerto, Op. 7, in 2025.
Notable among recent appearances are festivals such as L’esprit du piano in Bordeaux, the Festival International de Piano aux Jacobins in Toulouse, the Habana Clásica Festival and the Young Pianists’ Gathering in Cuba, the UIS International Piano Festival in Colombia, and the Santander Music and Academy Encounter in Spain.

She has collaborated with prominent Cuban and international musicians across various styles, including
Leo Brouwer, Baldur Brönnimann, Ronald Zollman, José Antonio Méndez, Bárbara Llanes, Alfredo
Bernardini, Ars Longa, Pedro Pablo Cámara, Yasek Manzano, and Liuba María Hevia.
She has made recordings for the Colibrí label, notably the 20 Pianos CD-DVD featuring music by Ernán López-Nussa, which won the 2012 Cubadisco Grand Prize.
In 2022, she released his first solo album, Cuba: Piano Contemporáneo (Calle-440), which includes works by Cuban composers from the 20th and 21st centuries.
From an early age, she has combined teaching with her concert career, having taught at the Amadeo Roldán Conservatory and the Higher Institute of Art in Cuba, as well as in Spain at the Katarina Gurska Higher Center and the Higher Conservatory of Castile and León (COSCyL), and as a guest professor at the Reina Sofía School’s Summer Camp.
She is currently a professor at the Royal Higher Conservatory of Music in Madrid, balancing teaching with her artistic activities and the promotion of Cuban and Latin American repertoire through performance and recording.
